Material
compensation for one's offerings is part of the human journey.
It is a means of exchange that has gotten so far out of proportion
from its original intent, which arose from the collective intent
of Spirit: that each gives and receives in accordance to his or
her abilities, wisdom, experiences and gifts. The exchange is
important because it creates wealth of communitynot wealth
of the purse.
Community
is central to the human journey. In spirit, that is without a
body, the oneness is easily embraceable, depending on the willingness
of the soul. By this I mean, there are some souls who, because
of damaged journeys in the body, are fearful even of community
in spirit, and these souls drift for as long as they need in a
bath of spiritual sleep after leaving the body. There they are
nourished by divine love. But
to return to the need to give and to receive, which is called
community. To love and be loved. To honor and be honored.
To teach and to learn. This is you, Dearheartyou and
me and everyone at the deepest connection, union and clarity
of beingness when it is fully chosen in spirit and in flesh.
This need, this desire, this burning love for community, union
and oneness is central to all of life. It is the ultimate
experience of transfiguration, which is beyond the ability
of mind the begotten, bred and raised in the thunderous atmosphere
of emotions to grasp. Bred
in this emotional chaos, the mind serves fear and the need to
protect the host, which is each individual. The mind bred by emotion
thinks that only separation will lead to protection. The
mind is wrong, of course. But the mind is an unruly child, throwing
temper tantrums all the timesoothed when its needs are met
as is an infant at the breast. What the mind truly hungers for
is union. This is the great paradox: the very thing the mind desires,
it also desperately seeks to destroy for fear it will lose what
little control it has! You see the endless cycle that the mind,
bathed by emotions, perpetuates.Poor
thing, the emotional mind. Poor, frightened child.Ah,
but the pure mind, the human mind is an excellent machine, a creation
of greatest beauty and complexity, a creation of spirit and the
divine that, if honored as an exquisite mechanical creation of
divine love and respect for the human journey, can and does do
wondrous things.
The
pure mind, the pure mind.... |
